I recently noticed that my DVD/CD stopped working. It spins, but nothing happens; the disc is not read.I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit on an HP Touchsmart tx2z.I ran Microsoft's FixIt program via and it identified the following problem: 'HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GT20L SATA CdRom Device has a driver problem. The driver is experiencing a Plug and Play device issue.' However, FixIt stated that it failed to solve the problem and discs are still not being read.I manually uninstalled the driver through Device Manager and then scanned for hardware changes. The driver was re-installed, but with the same issues as before.Any ideas?Thanks!
